Weddings are such a wonderful opportunity to be creative and make a statement about ourselves. How lucky am I to help you do that?? I am blessed to be able to share such incredibly special moments in peoples’ lives. And recently relocated back to the Pittsburgh area from Los Angeles, I am excited to do so in my own hometown!On my website you can view more information about my services along with my complete portfolio. Here in my blog, I hope you get a feel for my style. I’ll put it in words, but you’ll learn more by paging through my archives to see sneak peeks of each of my engagement sessions and weddings. I share quite a number of photos here, because I believe one of the most important criterion in choosing a wedding photographer is seeing comprehensive sample weddings. Lots of photographers can get great shots now and then, but your wedding is too important of a day to take a risk on getting a good shot, right?

The single most important attribute that I believe will contribute to your beautiful, emotional images is my friendly (ie goofy) disposition! Let’s avoid those stiff, posed images and get to know each other a little. It’s a lot easier to relax in front of a friend, than in front of a stranger with a camera. It’s for this reason that I offer an engagement session with every package, so that we get comfortable working together.

I shoot with a fine art photojournalistic style. What does that mean? Throughout the main events, think newspaper coverage... telling the story of your day as it unfolds, capturing rich emotion and joy! But I don’t rely just on chance, to create beautiful artistic images of the bride and groom on their wedding day. I make it happen, setting aside time with my couples to capture images of their love in beautiful, creative ways. Just like in your engagement session, but in a fancy dress and Manolo Blahniks! Fun stuff. This is my time to show you in your best light- with beautiful, carefully crafted photographs.

Think of your shoot as a romantic afternoon romp. Er, as in a date. Outdoors. Ham it up, goof off, hold hands, smile coyly at each other! Do whatever makes you happy! I'm there to capture what comes absolutely natural to you. And I'm completely unafraid of making a fool out of myself to get you guys feelin' comfortable. Hey, whatever works, right?
